Whether you are new to rowing or a former collegiate rower, Annapolis Rowing Club welcomes you and has a team or program to fit your interests and needs. Depending on the type of membership you choose, you can access a range of benefits. Read the descriptions below to find out more. Membership Types and Fees 2026

Full 12-Month All-Access Rowing

Annual membership runs from April 1 to March 31. Includes full access to boathouse facility, rowing equipment, gym equipment, winter training, and participation in the Club Social Events.  Members can lease rack space and may vote and hold office on the Board after a minimum of one full year of full-time membership. Requires 10 volunteer hours per season. Cost: $1680 per year.

Full 12-Month Non-Rowing

Annual membership runs from April 1 to March 31. Includes full access to boathouse facility, gym equipment, winter training, and participation in the Club Social Events. Members can vote and hold office on the Board after a minimum of two full years of full-time Membership. Requires 10 volunteer hours per season. This membership is designed to encourage people who may want to erg, use the gym and facility, support the club, and participate in events but not row in boats. Cost: $525 per year.

Full 12-Month Non-Rowing Coach or Coxswain

Non-rowing coaches and coxswains have full use of boathouse facility, gym equipment and participation in the Club Social Events. Members can vote and hold office on the Board after a minimum of one full year of full-time membership. Requires 10 volunteer hours per season. Cost: Free. Coaches and coxes who row are required to purchase a full annual membership. 

Student 3-Month

Includes 3 consecutive months of full access to boathouse facility, rowing equipment, gym equipment, and participation in the Club Social Events.. Members must be students between the ages of 18 and 24 years. Members may not lease rack space, vote, or hold office. No volunteer requirement for this membership. Cost: $420.

New Member Partial-Year All-Access Rowing

Part-year membership runs from July 1 to March 31. Members must be experienced rowers new to the club. Includes full access to boathouse facility, rowing equipment, gym equipment, winter training, and participation in the Club Social Events.  Members can lease rack space and may vote and hold office on the Board after a minimum of one full year of full-time membership. Requires 10 volunteer hours per season. Cost: $1050.

Winter Training

Part-year membership runs from November 1 to March 31. Includes full access to boathouse facility, gym equipment, winter training, and participation in the Club Social Events. Members cannot lease rack space, vote, or hold office on the Board.  Cost: $250.

Rack Space for Private Boats

ARC has limited rack space for private boats. Only 12-month leases accepted. Individuals must hold one of the 12-month memberships listed above. Contact ARC Boathouse Captain for availability: boathouse@annapolisrowingclub.com

Coxswains Welcome!

At Annapolis Rowing Club, we love our coxswains. Are you an experienced coxswain looking to get back on the water? Many of our crew teams are seeking volunteer full-time coxswains for practices as well as for regattas.
