Whether you are new to rowing or a former collegiate rower, Annapolis Rowing Club welcomes you and has a team or program to fit your interests and needs. Depending on the type of membership you choose, you can have access to a range of benefits.

Membership Types and Fees

Full Time

Members have full access to ARC equipment and facilities for one year (April 1-March 31). Members may lease rack space, vote, hold office, and participate in Winter Training (no extra fee). In support of the club, members are required to join one of the operating committees. Cost $800.

Half Season

Members have full access to equipment and facilities for a specified four-month period: Spring (April 1-July 31) or Fall (August 1-Nov 30). Members may renew their Half Season membership and vote in elections. Members may not lease rack space or hold office. Winter Training is not included. Members are required to join one of the operating committees during the half season. Cost $500.

Novice II

Members have full access to equipment and facilities from completion of the Novice I program to the end of the ARC season. This membership is only open to Novices (members with less than 1 year of rowing experience). Members may vote and participate in Winter Training (no extra fee). Members may not lease rack space or hold office. Members are required to join one of the committees. Cost $400.

Weekend

Members’ access to equipment and facilities is limited to only weekend days (Saturday and Sunday). Members may vote and participate in Winter Training (no extra fee). Members may not lease rack space or hold office. Members are required to join one of the committees. Cost $500.

One Month

Members have full access to equipment and facilities for only one month, which may not be renewed. Members may not lease rack space, vote, or hold office. Winter Training is not included. Volunteering for a committee is not required. Cost $125.

Two Month

Members have full access to equipment and facilities for two consecutive months, which may not be renewed. Members may not lease rack space, vote, or hold office. Winter Training is not included. Volunteering for a committee is not required. Cost $300.

Four Month

Members have full access to equipment and facilities for 4 consecutive months between April and November. Members may not lease rack space or hold office but they may vote. Winter Training is not included. Volunteering for a committee is required.

Cost $500.

Student

Members have full access to equipment and facilities for three consecutive months between May and August. Members must be high school, college, or graduate students between ages 19 and 27 years. Members may not lease rack space, vote, or hold office. Winter Training is not included. Volunteering for a committee is not required. Cost $225.

Winter Training

Members have access to ARC ergs and the winter program during the off-water season (November-March). Members may not lease rack space, vote, or hold office. Volunteering for a committee is not required. Cost $150.

Coach or Coxswain

Free membership for non-rowing coaches and coxswains only.  Members may vote.  Members may not lease rack space or hold office.  Winter Training is not included.  Volunteering for a committee is not required.

Adaptive Rowing

Program for select individuals with a disability who are accepted on a case-by-case basis. Members have limited access to equipment and facilities for the year. Members may vote and hold office. Members may lease rack space. Members may participate in Winter Training. Members are required to join one of the operating committees. 

Strokes4Survivors

Free program for cancer survivors. Members have limited access to equipment and facilities during the 10-week program. Coaching is included.  Members may not lease rack space, vote, or hold office. Winter Training is included. Volunteering for a committee is not required.

Coxswains Welcome!

At Annapolis Rowing Club, we love our coxswains. Are you an experienced coxswain looking to get back on the water? Many of our crew teams are seeking volunteer full-time coxswains for practices as well as for regattas. Membership for non-rowing coxswains is free.
